What Houses Want to Say
An interesting thing about Feng Shui is that no matter what school you use (Compass, Black Hat, etc), it works. Why is that?
My intuitive work with houses has led me to believe that the house itself (and the land as well) isn't so much concerned with the 'how' of our practice of placement and interaction at home. Houses seem to care that they are able to do the work, provide the service, and collaborate with us on our journey through life. They want to be a refuge or safe harbor, encourage creativity, or simply help us to reduce the outside stress in our lives.
I've spoken to many houses, for various reasons, and found that when they are ignored, in disrepair, or not consulted, they rebel. That rebellion can look like broken appliances, strange mishaps (break-ins, etc.)and other events that seem out-of-the-ordinary.
When we figure out what WE want, then enlist our house to help, I find that changes are easier, more affordable, and more creative. Try it!

Reiki for Service
Part of the gift of Reiki is being of service as you are acting as a channel. When charging for Reiki, it is important to be clear about the goal: being of service.
When I am clear with this intention, the energy flows freely, the session is timeless, and my client usually feels great or at least is able to move stuck energy.
Learning the Reiki techniques is not as important as setting the intention to serve others by acting as a channel for universal energy. Part of the reason to have a teacher or at the very least colleagues, is to keep your energy grounded in your purpose.
It may seem obvious, but having a daily intention to serve, in and out of Reiki sessions, will attract the right people and experiences to you in an amazing way.

New Digs
Hello!
I'm writing to let you all know that I'm practicing in a new space now. I'm in Renton (literally across the street from Ikea) and I'll be practicing one on one Reiki, on-location Feng Shui, and I'm teaching several classes.
Very exciting!
My next class, Introduction to Business Reiki, is on October 22, 2009 at 4130 SW Lind Ave, Renton, WA, from 1-4pm. Please email me at businessreiki (at) gmail (dot) com to reserve a spot.
